My contribution

I have been collaborating with multiple design figures: as the User Researchers uncover findings in their weekly rounds of tests, I then leverage user research insights and iterate on the existing designs with senior UX and Content Designers, in order to provide a new prototype for the next round of testing (in which I occasionally take part as an observer). As the features are validated, I am also liaising with the development team to verify feasibility and to provide ready-to-build screens and UI patterns for their fortnightly building sprints.

In support of the weekly creation of a testing prototype, my focus was organising and preserving the design system developed in the first phase of testing and to expand and maintain the components library.

While my focus is on the user experience, I’ve got an eye for branding and visual consistency: for this reason, I have also taken care of curating and maintaining the overall journey map of the product the team is developing, not only to keep track of what needs to be built in the next sprints, but also to identify and solve UI patterns inconsistency issues before build.

Working towards the release of the Beta version, the project requires strong attention to accessibility, both for screen readers and for cognitive limitations: in this context, I have actively proposed solutions consulting with senior UX Designers and Developers, tackling different sets of features on a 2-weeks sprint basis, exchanging views in Figma and Miro both on low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity artefacts. For instance, following a thorough audit of the existing desktop product that I carried out alongside competitive research, I also lead the adaptation of the mobile app screens into web desktop format, ensuring responsiveness depending on breaking points.

Given the complexity of the project, I also seek a Content Designer’s input on a weekly basis to inform the content architecture of the service and refine the product language as per the client’s requirements.
